World number seven Robin Soderling faces a tough test from Feliciano Lopez in the Indian Wells third round.

There is a 27 place gap in the rankings between Soderling and Lopez with the Spaniard ranked 34 at the moment but things have not played out as you would expect when these two have met in the past.
