The Russian had a fairly torrid 2011 by his standards but he looked mightily impressive as he saw off Stephane Robert in under an hour earlier this week.Davydenko remains a great returner and he'll provide a thorough test of Gasquet's sharpness indoors. The fourth seed is playing his first match of the week after receiving a first round bye.Gasquet actually leads 3-1 on the head-to-head, winning in straight sets at the 2010 US Open.However the Frenchman can still be very inconsistent and the first match indoors is always a tough one.
