The first day at the Miami Masters 2013 will have men's and women's singles qualifying action with a bunch of Americans in action today.
First up is USA's Tim Smyczek who plays Gastao Elias while countryman Steve Johnson plays Australian Matthew Ebden before Jack Sock and Michael Russell also take court in men's singles qualifying action at Miami.
Later in the day Belgian Olivier Rochus will be up against Philipp Petzschner of Germany in what could be an interesting encounter.
Stadium 2 action will have Eleni Daniilidou feature in her opening qualifier against Galina Voskoboeva before Misaki Doi takes on American Bethanie Mattek-Sands. Also from the USA, Melanie Oudin and Alexa Glatch, go up against each other before Lara Arruabarrena takes on wild-card Allie Kiick.
Ivo Karlovic will be one of those taking court too with his opener against Jan-Lennard Struff in the qualifiers, while Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin takes on wild-card Yuki Bhambri of India.
