Third round action gets underway Monday at the BNP Paribas Open with World No. 2 and 2008 winner Novak Djokovic, World No. 3 and reigning champion Rafael Nadal, and the Nos. 2-3 Americans John Isner and Sam Querrey squaring off on Stadium 1.

In the first match of the day, No. 25 seed Philipp Kohlschreiber and Djokovic meet for the third time (tied 1-1). They first met here in the third round two years ago with the Serb winning in straight sets.
In the following match, former Top 10 Mario Ancic takes on Nadal for the fifth time. The Spaniard is 3-1 lifetime and in their only previous hard court meeting, Nadal prevailed in two tie-breaks in Auckland in January 2004.
In the second evening match, Davis Cup teammates and friends Isner and Querrey, the No. 15 and No. 17 seeds, respectively, meet for the second time. Querrey won in the Memphis final on Feb. 21 in three sets. Here is a look at Monday’s third round match-ups:
