A number of big names are in action this week as the Table Tennis Challenger Series returns in Ochsenhausen.
The Table Tennis Challenger Series is a weekly event which runs from Monday until Wednesday this week, with eight of the world’s best table tennis players taking to the table.
After the weekly rounds have been completed the top eight players compete in a Final Tournament to determine an overall winner – players have to compete in at least 10 tournaments to qualify for the final.
Three of the top four are in action this week with Thomas Keinath looking to put more pressure on overall leader Torben Wosik.
Keinath is currently in second place with 1500 and will be looking to catch Wosik who is not in action this week but leads the way with 2000 points.
Jakub Kleprlik is in third place with 1295 points and Jiri Vrablik is just behind him in fourth with a total of 1160 and they will be looking for a strong three days.
The opening game of the day will see Miroslav Horejsi, who is in sixth place on the ladder, go up against Vrablik at 0730 GMT, while Csaba Molnar and Aleksandar Karakasevic will end proceedings on Monday at 1410.
