Punters are undoubtedly following Aidan O’Brien blind at present after his array of Group One glories this season and he will be hoping to add an unprecedented three consecutive Irish Oaks to his three consecutive Irish Derbies.

Spread bettors interested in selling SP’s will be pleased to hear that two of the last four favourites have obliged. However, before the two previous winners were returned at 12/1 and 33/1.

Those interested in selling winning distances will be concerned that the last three winners have won the race by 3&1/2, 4 and 5 lengths. However, buyers will be happier to hear that before that, the previous four winners had all won by 1&1/2 lengths or less.
