The duo go head-to-head in the second round of a major televised tournament for the second time in just over a month, with their latest meeting a re-run of their UK Championship battle which saw Judd Trump edge a thriller 6-5.

Since that encounter in York, O'Sullivan threatened to walk out on the game but has battled on and muted the critics with a fine first round victory over Ding Junhui.

Trump is out to claim back-to-back major titles after his UK glory but will need to improve on his opening performance if he is to get past a determined Rocket.

The pair are without doubt two of the game's most naturally gifted cueists and are renowned for their effortless potting and entertaining style of play.

Trump holds the better record against the three-time world champion, with three victories from their five meetings to date.
