The final stages of PTC 12 get underway on January 6, as the 16 remaining players battle it out for the £10,000 first prize as well as Grand Final places.

The event, which began in Sheffield in December, is the final Players Tour event of the season, meaning the full lineup for the PTC Grand Finals will be confirmed following its' completion on January 8.

More than 200 players started out in the event, now just 16 remain and will travel to Munich with a title win in mind.

UK Championship finalist Mark Allen will be among the favourites for the title; he takes on resurgent Teessider Mike Dunn, who made a 147 in a PTC event recently.

Seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry tops the bill when he faces Marco Fu in the last 16, while fellow Scots Stephen Maguire and Marcus Campbell are also in action.

Londoner Martin Gould will warm up for his Masters debut by travelling to Germany for this event alongside stars such as Ricky Walden and Michael Holt.

The last 16 through to the final will be played from January 6-8, 2012 at the Event Forum, Fuerstenfeldbruck, Munich, with all matches played over the best of seven frames.
