Two former world champions meet in Warsaw this afternoon, as Shaun Murphy takes on Australia's number one Neil Robertson in the quarter-finals of the PTC 6.

Murphy has made a promising start to the season, defeating rival Ronnie O'Sullivan in the Premier League as well as winning the Brazil Masters invitational.

Robertson has found form of late, winning week 3 of the Premier League in Motherwell after a barren spell following his 2010 World Championship and World Open wins.

Both players have seen off quality opposition en route to this stage; Robertson's wins coming over Daniel Wells, Gerard Greene, Peter Ebdon and Stephen Maguire 4-3 this morning.

Murphy first saw off youngster Jak Jones, before beating Stuart Carrington, Adam Duffy and winner of a recent PTC event - Ben Woollaston.

The pair notably met in the quarter-finals of last year's UK Championship, with Murphy claiming a 9-7 victory after Robertson had arrived for the match just 10 minutes before it was due to start.

Their latest encounter looks too close to call, with both players capable of punishing chances and are dangerous long-potters.

Action begins at 12.00pm UK time (1pm local time) and will be streamed live over the best of seven frames.
