Two superb matches round off the Quarter-Finals of the Masters on Friday, as Mark Williams takes on Neil Robertson and Mark Selby plays Shaun Murphy.

 Both matches have the potential to be classics, with four of the world's top six players in action over two sessions at the Ally Pally.

The first sees Mark Williams, twice a winner of the event, take on Australian ace and former world champion - Neil Robertson.

Despite reaching the final of the first two ranking events of the season (the Australian Open and the Shanghai Masters), Williams has struggled for consistency on the tour.

The Welsh Potting Machine will be out to prove he is a genuine title contender by defeating the Aussie in a tough last eight encounter on Friday.

Robertson, who saw off Mark Allen with a convincing performance in the opening round, is the marginal favourite, but will need to snap up his chances against his prolific break-building opponent.

2010 Masters champion Mark Selby faces Shaun Murphy in the second mouthwatering tie of the day for the right to face John Higgins in the semi's.

Selby has been one of the form horses on the circuit this season, scooping three titles and taking over as world number one.

He brushed past Stephen Lee in the first round but faces a much trickier test against former world champion Shaun Murphy next.

The Magician has also shone on the tour, winning snooker's first ever tournament in Brazil - the 2011 Brazil Masters. He is yet to get beyond this stage of the event in his six previous appearances at the Masters.

Could his silky-smooth technique see him upset The Jester on Friday and reach the Semi-Finals?
