Mark Allen made swift work of beating Mark Williams this morning, winning 3-0. His opponent this afternoon, Jamie Cope, was himself beaten by the same score-line by Stuart Bingham. Logic would say that Allen should, therefore, win at a canter, but that isn’t always the case.
