Mark King has been cut to 25/1 (from 66/1) for the Ladbrokes Mobile Masters by the sponsors after knocking out previous two time Masters champion Mark Selby. King was available at 5/2 before the match started but beat Selby (2/7) 6 - 4.

In the evening game the odds were upset again as Peter Ebdon (5/4) beat Ali Carter who was 4/7 to win the game. Ebdon is now 20/1 from 50/1 for the tournament outright.

Monday’s play sees a close game between Mark Williams and Ding Junhui with them both earning 5/6 chances to win. The evening game sees John Higgins (4/9) take on Graeme Dott (13/8).

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro: “King has pulled off what could be the shock of the tournament in the first game and is a big out right mover. The evening game saw another pre-match outsider come out on top and we don’t think the surprise results will stop here. ”
