The 2011 World Snooker Championship quarter finals begin on Tuesday morning, with Judd Trump returning to the Crucible baize after knocking out reigning champion Neil Robertson and Martin Gould. But can he overcome the tenacious Graeme Dott who is a superb long frame match player?

Match odds
Trump has played some excellent snooker in both matches and has an entertaining style of play which has won him lots of fans. The bookmakers have the 22-year-old as slight favourite to win the game, with Sportingbet offering a best price 17/20 about Judd claiming a place in the semi-finals.

However, some will fancy the 11/10 that Ladbrokes have about a Dott success. The Pocket Dynamo has a wealth of Crucible experience compared to his opponent and this could count for a great deal if the match is a close one.

Handicap betting
There are some attractive odds available if you think that Trump or Dott can win by a couple of clear frames. Judd is available at 6/4 with a -2.5 frame handicap which will appeal to those who think the 22-year-old can win 13-10 or better. Paddy Power are good for this type of betting.

Frame betting
Let’s face it, few of us would be surprised to see this match go down to the wire and here are some of the best odds about a close encounter

Trump 13-12 = 10/1 with Stan James
Trump 13-11 = 9/1 with Betfred
Trump 13-10 = 10/1 with Paddy Power
Dott 13-12 = 10/1 with Stan James
Dott 13-11 = 10/1 with Paddy Power

Recommended bets
Judd Trump @ 17/20 with Sportingbet
Judd Trump 13-10 @ 10/1 with Paddy Power
