Dennis Taylor looks to cause another upset today when he takes on The Whirlwind Jimmy White in the World Seniors last eight in Peterborough.

The 1985 world champion sensationally disposed of tournament favourite Nigel Bond yesterday and will be full of confidence going into this afternoon's clash.

Defending champion White produced a routine 2-0 victory over Tony Knowles in round one and is expected to push for the title come Sunday evening.

Northern Irish legend Taylor, proved he still has what it takes after a fine first round display and sported the trademark glasses which served him well throughout his career.

The pair have met six times in previous encounters, with White holding a fine record with five wins over his opponent.

The match promises to be a classic, with both players rolling back the years and over an ultra-short format, anything can happen.

White remains the bookmakers favourite however, priced at 1/4, with Taylor the 11/4 outsider with Bet365.    

The match gets underway at 3pm from the East of England Showground, Peterborough and will be streamed live over the best of three frames.
