Two-time World Champion John Higgins is among the competitors in the third group of the Championship League Snooker.
The event, which can be watched online on a number of betting websites, acts as a qualifier to Matchroom Sport's Premier League and features some of the biggest names in the sport.
Group Three starts on Monday with Higgins, who won at The Crucible in 1998 an 2007, among the seven-man field.
Each of the players are ranked in the top 16 in the provisional rankings with the line-up including Ali Carter, Ding Junhui, Barry Hawkins, Joe Perry, Neil Robertson and Mark Williams.
Higgins will be hoping to perform better than other former World Champions as Stephen Hendry, Shaun Murphy and Peter Ebdon have all been eliminated already.
Each man in the group plays the others in a round-robin basis with each match played over four frames. The winner gets two points, while it is a point apiece if it ends a 2-2.
At the end of the league phase the top four compete in the semi-finals and then the final with the winner advancing to the Winners' Group in March.
However, the bottom two from the league phase are eliminated with everyone else moving into Group Four, where they will be joined by three new players on Wednesday.
