The Super League Grand Final between Wigan Warriors and St Helens is quickly heading towards a sell out as the season comes to an end on Saturday at Old Trafford. Wigan Warriors have sold out of their entire ticket allocation for the Engage Super League Grand Final on Saturday at Old Trafford. The Warriors received an enhanced allocation of 12,000 tickets which were quickly snapped up by supporters eager to see their first Grand Final appearance in seven years and potentially their first Grand Final triumph since the initial final in 1998. RFL marketing manager Phil Williams said: “The demand for tickets has been at unprecedented levels. “After an intense few rounds of play-off fixtures, the two most consistent sides this season booked their place in the Engage Super League Grand Final this Saturday. “Both teams have been starved of the Engage Super League trophy in recent years and are itching to get their hands on it to make up for previous disappointments, so we have the making of an epic encounter. “The RFL’s remaining tickets are selling rapidly so I urge any fans wishing to attend the Grand Final to move quickly to avoid disappointment.” There are a few tickets remaining through the RFL website. 888Sport have installed Wigan as the odds-on favourites at 4/7, while St Helens can be backed at 5/4 to take the title.
