New Zealand are overwhelming favourites to bounce back in style when they take on Wales in the Four Nations on Saturday despite veteran Wales scrum-half Ian Watson being confident of causing an upset.

The Kiwis and Welsh will lock horns in the first match in Saturday’s double header at Wembley Stadium.

New Zealand kicked off their campaign last Friday with a 26-12 defeat against Australia at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, while the Welsh went down 42-4 at the hands of England.

Many experts predict that New Zealand will bounce back and eventually face Australia in the Final of the Four Nations on November 19, and they can be backed as 1/250 odds-on favourites with Bet365 to win this Group match.

Watson, who is 35 years old, insists his 33/1 shot side are heading to Wembley with the sole purpose of causing a major upset.

The Swinton Lions half-back said: “I think we've got a good chance to cause an upset.

"If we'd done things a little bit better against England then we'd have been a lot closer.

"I think the scoreline was more down to our errors than anything else. That enabled them to get better field positions than us and then be ruthless in executing."

The Kiwis have made a couple of changes from the side that got beat by Australia with Wigan Warriors star Thomas Leuluai starting at hooker with Nathan Fien coming on to the bench with Issac Luke rested.

The Kiwis may be heavy favourites to win the match, but how about backing the Welsh with a 42 point start on the handicap at even money with Sportingbet, while New Zealand -48 can be backed at 10/11 with BetFred.

There are plenty of different markets on offer for this Wembley clash with the half-time/full-time market very popular.

You can get odds of 14/1 with Blue Square that Wales shock the Kiwis by leading at the break before the reigning Four Nations champions bounce back to win the game, while New Zealand are 1/100 with Ladbrokes to lead at half-time and full-time.

New Zealand versus Wales is the first match in the double header with the kick-off being 1330 GMT.
