St George Illawarra Dragons duo Jamie Soward and Ben Creagh and Manly forward Glenn Stewart all picked up knocks during their clash on Monday to add to the injuries to Kurt Gidley, Michael Jennings and Beau Scott in coach Ricky Stuart’s 20-man squad.

Soward limped out of WIN Stadium after scoring the 90 metre match-clincher in the Dragons' win over Manly, aggravating a case of hamstring tendonitis.

Creagh had to ice his troublesome ankle, while Stewart suffered a back injury which Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler admitted was causing him to be "quite distressed".

The triple injury setback is a huge blow to Stuart, who had been fiercely critical of the scheduling of the top of the table clash, which featured seven NSW squad members and Queenslander Darius Boyd.
