Six Nations France Team update - France name Wales XV

- 22 Feb 2010
France coach Marc Lievremont has kept disruption to his Six Nations-chasing XV (2/5 Outright favourites) to a bare minimum for the trip to Wales (14/1 Outright at Betfred) on Friday after making two changes – both of which are forced on him through injury.

Winger Vincent Clerc and flanker Fulgence Ouedraogo are both injured so Benjamin Fall and Julien Bonnaire come into the side, with prop Sylvain Marconnet failing to make the bench because of a groin strain.

Jean-Baptiste Poux comes in for Marconnet while wing Alexis Palisson has shaken off knee trouble to start.

Wales name their side later on Monday having brought Sale Sharks star Dwayne Peel into the squad instead of Martin Roberts.

France lead the Six Nations table after wins against Scotland and Ireland.
France: C Poitrenaud (Toulouse); B Fall (Bayonne), M Bastareaud (Stade Francais), Y Jauzion (Toulouse), A Palisson (Brive); F Trinh-Duc (Montpellier), M Parra (Clermont Auvergne); T Domingo (Clermont Auvergne), W Servat (Toulouse), N Mas (Perpignan), L Nallet (Racing-Metro), P Pape (Stade Francais), T Dusautoir (Toulouse, capt), J Bonnaire (Clermont Auvergne), I Harinordoquy (Biarritz).
