The Bulls will be looking to put pressure on the top four when they return to Super Rugby action at home against the Cheetahs this Saturday.

The Super Rugby competition returns to action following Australia, New Zealand and South Africa’s involvement in recent Test series’ against Wales, Ireland and England respectively.

The Bulls are sitting in fourth place on the overall standings, thanks to a better points difference over the Sharks, they also find themselves second in the South African Conference.

The Cheetahs are fourth in the South African Conference, but are down in 10th place on the overall standings with 36 points after winning five matches all season.

The Bulls come into this game on the back of a narrow 19-14 on home soil against the high-flying Stormers, while the Cheetahs had a bye and they haven’t played since their Round 14 37-34 win over the Waratahs back in May.

The Cheetahs are rank outsiders to take the points this Saturday with Luxbet laying them out at $5.75, while the Bulls are on offer at 1.15.

The visitors have been handed a 13 point head start on the line handicap market with a price of 1.92, while the Bulls -13 can be backed at the same price.

The Bulls have made just one change to his starting XV for the game against the Cheetahs.

Jacques Potgieter will start at flanker meaning CJ Stander drops to the interchange bench with Arno Botha missing out altogether.

The Cheetahs, on the other hand, have made a number of changes for a game they must win if they want to climb the ladder of success.

Trevor Nyakane comes in for the injured Coenie Ooasthuizen at loosehead prop, while Marcel van der Merwe gets a start at tighthead in place of WP Nel.

The only other change up front sees Ashley Johnson moving from the flank to number eight where he replaces Philip van der Walt.

In the backs Willie le Roux starts at full-back in place of Hennie Daniller, while Rocco Jansen starts on the left wing.
