With just over a week to go until the boat race, William Hill rate Oxford as their 2/5 red hot favourites to beat Cambridge who can be backed at 7/4. Hills have been so impressed by Oxford's recent form that they are offering just 8/1 that 2010 sees a record time.

"We are hearing very good things about Oxford and there is even talk of a record time this year," said Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
