Coral are hoping that Cambridge win 2012 Boat Race after last year’s winners Oxford were well backed

Coral bookmakers are betting on this year’s University Boat Race, and have already been knocked over for Oxford to win, cutting the light blues to 2-5 (from 1-2). Cambridge are 7-4 (from 6-4) and the dead-heat is 100-1.

“The early action is all for Oxford, our prices were only up a few minutes before the bets started coming in, everyone of them for last year’s winners,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.

Coral quote both teams at 10-11 to win the coin toss.
