Oxford go into the 154th Boat Race this weekend not only as the heavier of the two crews, but also as the hot favourites with Blue Square at 4/7.
The Dark Blues have won the race two times in the last three years and are strongly fancied in certain quarters to make it three out of four.
The latest weather forecast suggests both crews will face a difficult race, with south-westerly winds of more than 20 mph wind predicted around the time of the start.
"The heavier crew historically has the better record in the boat race, so after weighing in at 786.6 kilograms, it's not surprising that Oxford go into Saturday’s contest as favourites," said Blue Square spokesman George Primarolo.
"However, Cambridge coach Duncan Holland has said that he has no problem with being regarded as underdogs, as weight has apparently had no bearing on his team selection."
Cambridge are the outsiders of the pair at 5/4, whilst the dead-heat is a 100/1 shot.
University Boat Race: Oxford 4/7, Cambridge 5/4, Dead Heat 100/1.
Winning Distance: Under 3 lengths 5/6, 3 or more lengths 5/6, Either Crew to Sink 33
Isis vs Goldie: Isis 4/6, Goldie 11/10, Dead Heat 100
