With hours remaining until close of play, the betting giants are urging punters to throw their £2 into the ring for a chance at the £100,000 first prize!

For just £2, The Jumps will give punters and racing fans all the thrills and spills of being the 'virtual' owner of a stable string consisting of ten of the top horses in training. But if your team reins victorious at the end in March, there is nothing 'virtual' about the cash prize you'll be rewarded - £100,000. With an additional runner-up prize of £50,000, together with £4,000 worth of prizes for monthly winners, you cannot afford to miss out!

Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, said: "I just cannot get over what a fantastic response we've had from the punters - from Lands' End to John O'Groats. Anyone who is anyone wants a piece of The Jumps action, and for as little as two quid per shout, who wouldn't?!"

The game itself is easy to enter, players must simply pick 10 horses from ‘The Jumps’ Easy slip which is available at William Hill.

One of the ten selections must be from the list of eight stable stars. Your 'Stable Star' (the selection picked from the list of eight) entitles you to BIGGER ODDS every time it runs throughout the competition dates.

Punters can enter as many times as they like, however, each stable costs £2 and there are no transfers throughout the competition.
