Coral offer 5-1 that Stoute gains exclusive Arc Win
Sir Michael Stoute is 5-1 with Coral to train the winner of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe this year, following his 1,2,3 in Saturday's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes. The Ascot winner, Conduit, is 10-1 for the Arc, while Tartan Bearer is 20-1 and Ask is 25-1.
Coral are also quoting Stoute's former stable jockey, Kieren Fallon, at 12-1 to ride this year's Arc winner, while the former champion is 7-1 to regain the jockeys? title in 2010.
"It's been well documented that the Arc is the one big international race to have so far eluded Sir Michael Stoute, but if the King George result is any guide, this could be the year he finally ends that particular hoodoo" Coral's David Stevens told Bettingpro earlier today.
"If Stoute does head to Longchamp with more than one serious contender, then who knows, maybe Kieren Fallon will be part of the team once again, and he's 12-1 to crown his comeback with victory in the Arc" added Stevens.
