Whiteoak put herself firmly on the Ladbrokes World Hurdle map when she ran out an impressive winner of the Starlight Children's Foundation Mares' Hurdle at Kempton on Monday.
The 6/4 favourite did not win in any of her three starts last season, however she has started this season at the peak of her powers with the seven length victory.
The mare earned a quote of 14/1 from Ladbrokes after the victory and trainer Donald McCain explained: "We've had five runners, four winners and a second so it has been a proper day.
"I am thrilled Whiteoak got her head in front. She is bred to get three miles and we always thought she would.
"Now she has won over the trip it opens more options and she lacked the gears to stay with Celestial Halo last time.
"She's had two quick runs so we won't be in a hurry with her, but the World Hurdle would be a possibility somewhere along the line."
David Williams of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro: "Whiteoak looks as if she could be a genuine prospect for the long distance hurdles this season. A tilt at our race in March could well be on the cards for Donald McCain's talented mare"
