Zarkandar is the 5-2 (from 10-3) market leader with Coral for Saturday's Betfair Hurdle, following support for the Triumph Hurdle winner on Wednesday.
"Although Zarkandar hasn't been seen in public since Aintree last April, the form of his Triumph Hurdle win looks strong, and weather permitting, he will start hot favourite for Saturday's race," Coral's David Stevens explained to Bettingpro.
Elsewhere, Jessies Dream, who had been 7-1 fourth favourite with
Coral for Sunday's Irish Hennessy, has been ruled out of the Leopardstown race, and could miss the rest of the season, according to trainer Gordon Elliott.
