A gamble inspired by one of the major Tipping Lines has forced sponsors Stan James to cut Voy Por Ustedes from 9/2 into 7/2 for the King George VI Chase at Kempton Park on Boxing Day.

Head of PR Charlie McCann: "We remain unconvinced about the ability of Alan King's runner to get the trip and there are any number of horses such as Remittance Man who have failed to get home when tackling 3m at King George pace for the first time. That said the Alan King yard remain in cracking form and one of the Tipping Lines certainly felt 9/2 with the insurance of non runner no bet was too big earlier this afternoon. We have pushed out Tamarinbleu to 14s from 12s."

Medermit the game winner of the Grade 2 Novices' Hurdle at Ascot was given a quote of 16/1 by Stan James (first show) for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the Festival. Runner up Dee Ee Williams was pushed out to 16s from 14s for the same race and left unchanged at 20s for the Ballymore Properties having lost little in defeat. It would be no surprise to see the runner up stepped up in trip next time.
