With four races from the Shergar Cup card at Ascot together with one from Haydock and another from Newmarket, once again the Scoop6 is going to test the judgement of all participants.

Race 1 (Ascot 205) – Lui Rei deserves to land a decent prize after some solid runs of late and should go well under Keiren Fallon, while Hayley Turner’s mount Steps impressed in winning last time out and may well follow-up.

Race 2 (Haydock 220) – This is a cracking handicap with virtually all the runners coming into the race in fine shape. Goodwood winner Sir Graham Wade, Godolphin’s Anjaz, and the top weight Gabrial The Great carry our hopes here.

Race 3 (Ascot 240) – Mark Johnston’s horses couldn’t be in better form and his Fennel Bay did little wrong when fourth at Glorious Goodwood. James Doyle’s mount Sun Central could prove the biggest danger in a tricky heat.

Race 4 (Newmarket 300) – In a challenging seven furlong contest we row ion with our chosen trio of Zumbi, Citrus Star and the first-time hooded White Frost.

Rae 5 (Ascot 315) – Christian Demuro has a proper chance on Mark Tompkins’ Star Commander and together with Amanda Perrett’s Life and Soul is trusted with seeing us through to the final leg.

Race 6 (Ascot 350) – Northern challenger Springinmystep battled on bravely at Newcastle last time and despite a rise in the weights is expected to be in the thick of the action. In a closely-knit race we also include Big Note and Mince in our perm.
