The firm's Rory Jiwani explained to Racingbase: "We're top price every runner in the Buckingham Palace Stakes which concludes proceedings today, and we'd really like to be able to cut Imperial Djay who was one of Pricewise's two selections for the race. Ruth Carr's gelding should relish the soft ground and he's been cut from 20/1 to 14/1. The new price reflects the fact that there are six non-runners, but Imperial Djay is a hideous result in our book. Global Village is currently the 13/2 favourite with Kieren Fallon taking the ride for Brian Ellison.

"In the feature, the Coronation Stakes at 3.45, Homecoming Queen is the 11/4 favourite but most of the money we've seen has been for the thoroughly unexposed Cardigan. William Haggas's inmate won on her only racecourse appearance last September but she's been supported in from 16/1 to 10/1.

"The other race attracting cash is the Wolferton with John Gosden's Epsom winner Gatewood 3/1 from 4/1. Mijhaar has also been well supported with Roger Varian's Hambleton third 7/2 from 9/2. There's also been money for David Barron's veteran Sirvino who is 14/1 from 25/1.

"The amount of non-runners means greatly reduced prices in some cases with Astrology now 4/5 for the King Edward VII Stakes. Noble Mission is next best at 4/1 in a field of just five runners."
