Royal Ascot is a five-day flat racing extravaganza which is one of the most famous meetings in the world, presenting a range of betting opportunities.

Royal Ascot was originally founded by Queen Anne in 1711 and has retained its popularity through the decades and centuries, with Queen Elizabeth II expected to attend the 2011 meeting. 

Like any race meeting, there is tremendous emphasis on the Royal Ascot betting side of things, with bookmakers expecting record numbers of bets being struck between Tuesday 14 June and Saturday 18 June.
