Master Minded 1-4 Favourite For Kerrygold Champion Chase

William Hill have installed the dual Champion Chaser Master Minded as their 1-4 favourite for tomorrow’s Grade 1 Kerrygold Champion Chase at Punchestown.

 Paul Nicholls’ explosive jumper will face a maximum of five rivals in the two mile contest including the 2006 Champion Chaser Newmill – whose last win over fences came in the Kerrygold sponsored contest three years ago.

The Colm Murphy trained Big Zeb is rated the biggest danger to Master Minded by William Hill. The firm make the recent Fairyhouse scorer their 11-2 second favourite, while Arthur Moore’s Mansony is next best at 10-1 in the market.

Outsiders Watson Lake and Conna Castle complete the six runner field.

William Hill spokesman Tony Kenny commented “It looks like it’s going to be a stroll around Punchestown for Master Minded and we can’t see anything getting close to the Champion Chaser” he continued “Simply, if he jumps around, he wins!”
