Nicky Henderson still believes he has time to find the key to Binocular as he goes in search of Cheltenham Festival glory in the Champion Hurdle next month.

The trainer has been disappointed with his superstar so far this year and after scrambling home against two inferior rivals last weekend, it looks unlikely that Binocular will be beating last year’s third at Cheltenham

Henderson is eyeing some serious improvement over the coming weeks and explained: "He's sound as a pound, but we can still do a little fine-tuning.

"We can do some little tweaks here and there in the hope of finding something."

Confirming running plans for some of his other superstars, Henderson continued: "Zaynar is off to Kelso and Punjabi is going to run at Wincanton.

"Oscar Whisky will have his final run at Ascot next weekend, then hopefully he can follow Bellvano to the Supreme at Cheltenham."
