After positive comments from Sir Henry Cecil regarding the plan for Frankel to run at York in the Juddmonte International, William Hill have issued match betting prices for Frankel against Camelot, making the world’s highest rated colt 2/5 to beat the dual Classic winner.

William Hill spokesman, Richard Thomas told Bettingpro: “In racing we have often seen media hype about great clashes, and all too frequently they fail to materialise, but it looks possible that at York in August, a match-up between Frankel and Camelot could happen. 

"This has long been muted as the first time Frankel would step up in trip, and Coolmore would love the chance to topple the champion with their star three year old. In betting terms, we strongly favour Frankel (2/5), but the boys at Ballydoyle would try and set the race up to suit their certain stayer and Camelot could prove popular at 7/4.”
