Sunday saw a number of Classic trials being ridden across Uk & Ireland and that has led to a shake up in ante post markets.

With Aintree over for another year, the flat begins to take centre stage and Sunday saw a series of informative Classic trials at Leopardstown and Longchamp.

StanJames.com spokesman Rory Jiwani told Bettingpro:

"The English 2000 Guineas is just three weeks away with Dragon Pulse stating his case at Longchamp this afternoon. The former Jessica Harrington-inmate caught Christophe Soumillon napping on board the previously unbeaten Dabirsim to take the Prix de Fontainebleau, and he is now 12/1 from 33/1 for the first Classic of the season which trainer Mikel Delzangles won two years ago with Makfi.

"Furner's Green is 33/1 from 66/1 for the 2000 Guineas after winning the Group 3 Trial at Leopardstown for Aidan O'Brien. The master of Ballydoyle has bigger hopes for Newmarket including antepost favourite Camelot, but Furner's Green justified odds-on favouritism in good style.

"Homecoming Queen completed a treble on the day for O'Brien at Leopardstown with a surprise victory in the 1000 Guineas Trial. Colm O'Donoghue's made all to just deny favourite Fire Lily, and she is now 25/1 from 66/1 for the 1000 Guineas and the same price for the Oaks.

"In the Group 3 Ballysax Stakes, Light Heavy gave Jim Bolger a third consecutive win in the race with O'Brien's favourite David Livingston back in fifth. The son of Teofilo does not have an English Derby entry, but the manner of his win suggests he could well be supplemented for the race and we make him 12/1 third favourite to win at Epsom."

English 2000 Guineas antepost betting (EW 1/4 1,2,3): 5/2 Camelot 4 Most Improved 5 Top Offer 8 French Fifteen 9 Born To Sea 12 Power, Dragon Pulse, Abtaal 14 Nephrite 16 Parish Hall, Fencing 20 bar

English 1000 Guineas antepost betting (EW 1/4 1,2,3): 3 Maybe 13/2 Discourse 7 Wading 8 Lyric Of Light 11 Mashoora 16 La Colina, Elusive Kate, Lightening Pearl, Diala 20 Twirl, Russeliana 25 bar

Epsom Derby antepost betting (EW 1/4 1,2,3): 2 Camelot 10 Akeed Mofeed 12 Light Heavy 16 Top Offer, Imperial Monarch, Parish Hall, Bonfire, Mandaean, Kesampour 20 David Livingston, Apollo, Born To Sea, Swedish Sailor, Ernest Hemingway 25 bar
