To many the best dual-purpose horse in training, Kasbah Bliss was fourth behind Big Bucks in last season’s Ladbrokes World Hurdle, after finishing second behind Inglis Drever the season before. On the flat the seven-year-old has landed back-to-back renewals of the Group Three Prix Gladiateur at Longchamp and now he will head to Longchamp for his fourth Cadran. "It was an amazing run last time," said Doumen. "He had a very pleasing comeback run in the Grand Prix de Deauville (third behind Jukebox Jury) and I think he is in the best form on the Flat that I have ever had him. "He is definitely going to run on Sunday, unless there is a storm or something." "He is a very happy horse, he is always jumping about and I thought I had him right after Cheltenham but he bluffed me. "We will never go to Cheltenham again and I would like to only run him on the Flat. I would love to go for next year's Ascot Gold Cup." Doumen also spoke about another one of his Longchamp candidates. He continued: "I have a two-year-old filly, On Verra, who is owned by Tony Smurfit. "She was third in the Prix d'Aumale last time and is going to run in the Prix Marcel Boussac." Punters will be able to follow all the action from Longchamp with Bet365.
