I could have done without him going up in the ratings but otherwise I am happy.”With Woolcombe Folly at the head of the field, the weights are due to go up to 4lbs but, with Quantitativeeasing fresh and in great form, he will be tough to beat at 6/1 with Ladbrokes (free £50 bet) – especially as Great Endeavour has been raced pretty heavily in recent weeks.Following his Paddy Power Gold Cup victory, Great Endeavour ran in the Hennessey just a fortnight ago and finished fourth.Pipe has admitted his preparations are “not ideal” but remains convinced of his chances as 6/1 joint-favourite.However, the greatest threat could come from the Paul Nicholls-trained Ghizao.The Ruby Walsh-ridden horse has been raced sparingly throughout the year and, despite a disappointing run at Exeter at the start of November, he is currently 8/1 to continue Nicholls’ incredible season.Nicholls is currently 1/3 to win the Trainers’ Championship and those odds could come in even further following Saturday’s race.
