This week’s Dubai Carnival instalment looks to be even better than last week’s as some top class British raiders look set to tackle the new Meydan racecourse.

With racing on both Thursday and Friday, punters will have a plethora of action to sink their teeth into and there will be no more exciting entry than Luca Cumani’s globetrotting superstar Presvis.

A Group 1 winner on his travels, Presvis will be looking to build on his performance on Dubai World Cup night in 2009, when he chased home the outstanding Gladiatorus in the Dubai Duty Free.

Also entered for action this week is Brian Meehan’s former Racing Post Trophy sensation and Derby sixth Crowded House who will be hoping his eight-and-a-quarter length beating behind Sea The Stars is strong enough form to serve it up to the Dubai regulars.

Godolphin followers will also be excited to see an entry for stable principal Rio De La Plata who could take on Presvis and Crowded House in the 200,000 Group Three Al Rashidiya on Thursday.

David Simcock's Dubai Miracle is also set to run in the UAE 2000 Guineas Trial and is among a hose of British challengers over the two days racing.
