After a top weekend’s racing, Ladbrokes have adjusted their antepost markets accordingly, in the wake of some impressive performances.

St Nicholas Abbey has been halved in price to 10/1 (from 20/1) and is the new favourite for the Derby after taking the Beresford Stakes

David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "St Nicholas Abbey looks open to massive improvement. We had no hesitation in making him Derby favourite on the back of his Beresford win and lofty reputation. We particularly liked what what we saw at The Curragh."

Meanwhile, Rip Van Winkle has been installed the 2/1 clear favourite for the Breeders' Cup Classic after his narrow QEII win.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "We're firmly of the opinion that Rip Van Winkle is custom made for the Classic. The track, the trip and the way in which he still seems to be improving combine to make him a formidable prospect and he looks sure to be another popular favourite."

Electrolyser is also now the 8/1 second favourite for the Cesarewitch (from 14/1) after his Ascot win.
