Betfred have cut Aidan O'Brien into 1/4 (from 2/7)  break Bobby Frankel’s world record of 25 Group 1/Grade 1 winners following the success of Henrythenavigator in today’s Sussex Stakes.

The colt made it Group One win number 16 for O'Brien, and the Warrington based firm believe that the record target is now a "sitting duck" for the Ballydoyle outfit.

They believe that he is set to rewrite the record books in style, and are going 9/4 on him saddling 30 Group 1 winners by the end of the season.

"Aidan is a genius. There is no other way to sum him up, and the team that he has this season are simply awesome," said Betfred spokesman Dave Metcalf. "His team of older horses look like they will continue to mop up all the big races, and in Mastercraftsman and Rip Van Winkle in the two-year-old ranks he has two real potential superstars.

"It look now as if is a case of not whether he will break Frankel’s record but by how many!"
