Wolverhampton winner Edinburgh Knight was cut from 100 to 66/1 by sponsors Stan James for the 2010 2000 Guineas after his polished success at Dunstall Park earlier this afternoon.

Charlie McCann from Stan James told Bettingpro this afternoon: "Whilst a handicap success off a mark of 77 is hardly Classic form the son of Selkirk looks open to considerable improvement and trainer Paul D'Arcy suggested Newmarket was very much on the agenda in the immediate aftermath of the race."

In other news Imperial Cup winner Qaspal was cut from 6s to 3/1 favourite for the Martin Pipe c/j handicap @ the Festival and from 12s to 5s for the Vincent O'Brien County Hurdle.
