Bet on the new Premier League season with Paf

Scandinavian bookmaker Paf offer betting on the Premier League’s opening weekend of fixtures.

Paf may not be one of your household names when it comes to bookmakers, but they do offer comprehensive betting on the opening weekend of Premier League fixtures, and will continue to do so throughout the season.

Each of the 10 fixtures from the opening weekend of the Premier League have a total of 22 associated markets from the Match Odds, Correct Score and Over/Under 2.5 goals markets to half-time betting, HT/FT markets and Both Teams to Score.

Arsenal are made the 1.36 favourites to win their opening day encounter with Sunderland. Manager Arsene Wenger will be hoping that new signings Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla can hit the ground running in English football, but Sunderland will be no pushovers and can be backed at odds of 8.50 for the three points.

Across the city Fulham begin their campaign at home to Norwich, who begin life under the stewardship of new manger Chris Hughton. The Cottagers are made 1.80 favourites to start the season with a home win, while Norwich are 4.30 for the three points.

Also in London on the opening day Queens Park Rangers are Paf’s 2.10 favourites to beat Swansea, and West Ham are quoted at 2.30 to make a successful return to Premier League football by beating Aston Villa.

Chelsea will play their first competitive game as European champions when they take on Wigan. Paf offer odds of 1.50 that they kick off with a win, while the Latics are priced at odds of 7.00 to cause an upset.

Manchester City begin the defence of their Premier League title with a home game against Southampton on Sunday. At odds of 1.14 Paf obviously believe that City will kick off the season with all three points.

The weekend’s fixtures are completed on Monday evening when they go to Goodison Par to take on Everton. Odds of 1.88 suggest that Sir Alex Ferguson’s side are likely to pick up all three points, but far from guaranteed.
