Pennsylvania Primary Betting- Hillary Strong Favourite on Betfair Visit Betfair Save For Later Posted by Pete Culshaw 18 Apr 2008 Tweet Related Articles See all US Elections news Share it Pin It Hillary Clinton is the strong 1-5 favourite on Betfair to win the Pennsylvania Primary on Tuesday, with rival Barack Obama a 7-2 outsider. Clinton has always led in the Keystone State, never trading above 8-15 on Betfair, and her position now looks particularly strong having withstood a charge of support for Obama. Obama will wish he never opened his mouth last Friday when Clinton’s lead was cemented after he labelled small-town voters “bitter”, an unusual error in what has been a flawlessly run campaign. Nevertheless, Pennsylvania has always been a state Clinton was expected to win and Betfair customers still believe this will be the case. Obama remains 1-4 favourite on Betfair to win the nomination overall, with Clinton at 5-1. Al Gore’s price is steadily shortening, currently 20-1 on Betfair, amidst rumours that he could be the eventual solution to the impasse and take the nomination on the convention floor. Gore has traded at a high of 599-1 to be the Democratic candidate and 899-1 to be the next President. Betfair spokesman Mike Robb commented: “Pennsylvania has always been seen as a solid Clinton state but there was a gradual increase in support for Obama on Betfair until his small-town slip last weekend.” “If he had not made that mistake then we could have had the real possibility of a shock Obama win on Tuesday, something that would undoubtedly have brought an end to the contest. As it stands, it would appear that Clinton will win on Tuesday and that no immediate end to the Democratic contest appears in sight.” To win Democratic Pennsylvania Primary – Betfair bet: 1-5 Hillary Clinton, 7-2 Barack Obama To win Democratic Nomination – Betfair bet: 1-4 Barack Obama, 5-1 Hillary Clinton, 20-1 Al Gore To be Next US President – Betfair bet: 6-5 Barack Obama, 13-8 John McCain, 7-1 Hillary Clinton, 29-1 Al Gore Click here for your free bet with Betfair Read our Betfair review £20 risk-free bet plus £1000 cashback Like Like Post to wall 267 Reads All Political Betting News Recent Political Betting Articles US Presidential Election Betting – Palin to make late stand?08 Mar 2012William Hill have reacted to speculation that Sarah Palin could be about to spoil Mitt Romney’s ele US Presidential Election Betting – Romney on track07 Mar 2012William Hill have again shortened the odds on Mitt Romney being the Republican representative for t Mitt Romney favourite to win several US primaries05 Mar 2012Mitt Romney is available at odds of 10/11 to claim six or more Super Tuesday states Mitt Romney to enjoy Super Tuesday primaries04 Mar 2012With the Republican presidential candidates gearing up for Super Tuesday, Paddy Power have installe US Presidential Election Betting – Obama odds shortened25 Feb 2012William Hill continue to make Barack Obama their favourite to win the 2012 US Presidential Election.
