William Hill are offering odds of Even money that the proposed 3p rise in fuel duty will go ahead in January next year.

However, the firm believe it is odds-on that the fuel duty will be reduced from that.

William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe told Bettingpro.com: “The government is coming under pressure not to proceed with their proposed 3p fuel duty rise in January, and we believe they are likely to offer a concession.”
