General Election Betting – Odds Suggest Britain Will Finish With a Hung Parliament Visit Victor Chandler Save For Later Posted by Bettingpro Staff 6 May 2010 Tweet Which of these three men's parties will top the polls tonight? Related Articles See all Westminster news Share it Pin It Conservative majority drifting as nation goes to the polls Voting got underway this morning in Great Britain, and it looks like the nation are struggling to separate the three major parties, with all bookmakers making a hung parliament, in which no party claims an overall majority the 4/6 (VictorChandler) favoured result. There is expected to be a late surge from the Conservatives to win (11/8, Bluesq) as the party have been campaigning all this week against a hung parliament, rather than against either Labour or the Liberal Democrats. Neither of those parties realistically look like claiming a majority victory, with Labour a best-priced 33/1 (PaddyPower) to out-poll their rivals, and the Liberals a 100/1 (VictorChandler). Bwin offer odds of 17/10 that there is an overall majority, by any party, and that is the best place to go if you want to back Dvaid Cameron’s Tories, as they are the only ones likely of achieving that feat. The Conservatives are just 1/14 (VictorChandler) to win the most seats, with Gordon Brown’s Labour party 12/1 (Totepsort) and Nick Clegg’s Liberal Democrats 66/1 (BetFred) to pull off a shock. With the three candidates closer than ever before, it promises to be an interesting day of swings, and all markets will be worth keeping an eye on. *All odds are correct as of 10am GMT 6th May 2010 Read our Victor Chandler review Get your £100 free bet now at Victor Chandler Like Like Post to wall 616 Reads All Political Betting News Recent Political Betting Articles Next To Leave UK Cabinet Betting – Betting suspended on Jeremy Hunt24 Apr 2012Paddy Power have been forced to suspend betting on the next to leave the UK coalition cabinet follo Next To Leave UK Cabinet Betting – Jeremy Hunt made favourite24 Apr 2012Jeremy Hunt is now the favourite in the dreaded 'Cabinet sack race' betting, according to Ladbrokes Boris Johnson and Ken Livingstone 20/1 to have a fist fight03 Apr 2012Ladbrokes make Boris Johnson the strong favourite at 2/5 to win the London Mayoral Election George Galloway lands huge political gamble to land Bradford West seat30 Mar 2012George Galloway was a 33/1 outsider with Ladbrokes before a deluge of bets on the Scot saw his odds David Cameron backed to leave Cabinet with Ladbrokes26 Mar 2012David Cameron’s odds of leaving Cabinet have been trimmed during a troubled week for the Prime Mini Budget speech betting – George Osborne 50/1 to brandish a 50p piece20 Mar 2012The 2012 Budget speech looks set to include the words Olympics, Stamp Duty and Child Benefit accord More Stories Recent Articles Dalian Shide v Liaoning Hongyun live stream preview26 May 2012Tenth plays host to eighth in the Chinese Super League on Sunday with Dalian Shide taking on Liaoni Monaco Grand Prix Betting – Webber on pole after Schumacher demoted26 May 2012Red Bull’s Mark Webber is the 13-8 favourite with Coral bookmakers for Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix.
