Barack Obama's US Presidential odds have lengthened to the longest price he has been since winning his Party's nomination, with William Hill now pushing them out from 4/7 to 4/6, while John McCain's odds are in from 5/4 to 11/10.

'The Sarah Palin effect has revitalised McCain's campaign and he is now closer in the betting to Obama than at any time since he became the official candidate' said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe.'The momentum is with McCain who could easily be favourite by this time next week.'
