The paddypowerpoker.com Irish Winter Festival 2012 full tournament schedule is now confirmed; in addition to the headline IWF Main Event there are some interesting new side events thrown into the mix.
The cardroom has introduced a Doubles NLH tournament for the first time ever; the €55 per person buy-in event (or €110 per team), which will also be played at the WSOP 2012 in Las Vegas this summer, see’s players team up into pairs and alternate for every level of the tournament.
A choice of lower buy in tournament have also been introduced by
Paddy Power Poker for the recreational players who would like to compete in a major live poker festival environment at an affordable price. For these players there is a €55 NLH Turbo event on the Saturday night, or alternatively some slower structured €135 / €115 NLH tournaments throughout the weekend.
The Mythical Championship returns on the Monday evening for its third year running, but with an improved structure of 151 points as opposed to the previous years 101.
Let’s not also forget the infamous Main Event Super Satellite, which will follow tradition and run on the eve of the IWF Main Event. If previous years are to go by, there will be in the region of 35 – 40 Main Event seats won in this NLH Rebuy event.

The Irish Winter Festival will take place over October Bank Holiday weekend (26th –29th October 2012) in the Burlington Hotel, Dublin.
