Taking place from the 24th-28th August 2011 at the home of Coventry City Football Club, the Goliath has a £100,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool and aims to break the European record tournament field with over 1500 runners.
With every entrant into the tournament, 25% of the registration fee goes to Marie Curie Cancer Care, who are a charity partner to both the Coventry City Football Club and Grosvenor Casinos.
Following a deep-stacked (25,000 starting stack) No Limit Hold’em structure over the course of five days, whether you are a beginner or a pro, playing against this multitude of competitors will test the poker stamina and skill of all who individually attempt to topple the giant – but the reward for doing so will be great with first place guaranteed to walk away with over £25,000.
Who will take down Goliath? Coverage will be streamed live via the

Even if you miss the start, there is a six level late entry period which, on a 40 minute clock, will give you over 4 hours in which to turn up to play.

Throughout the Goliath Festival, there will be an array of nightly side events as well as cash tables running 24 hours a day with sit downs from £20 upwards.
