Olympics Day 15 - Mo Farah, Tom Daley and Jamaican 4x100m relay team in action

LONDON, ENGLAND - AUGUST 08: (L-R) Mohamed Farah of Great Britain and Edwin Cheruiyot Soi of Kenya compete in the Men's 5000m Round 1 Heats on Day 12 of the London 2012 Olympic Games at Olympic Stadium on August 8, 2012 in London, England. (Photo by Alexander Hassenstein/Getty Images)
Mo Farah goes for gold in the 10,000m while Jamaica's 4x100m team should ensure that there is an electric atmosphere in the Olympic Park. Elsewhere there is the men's football final between Brazil and Mexico and Tom Daley will be in action in the 10m platform diving.

There are an incredible 30 gold medals to be won today at the London 2012 Olympics as the fortnight's action comes to a close.

This will be the last night of athletics in the Olympic Park and British fans will be hoping that it is another golden one with Mo Farah aiming to win the 10,000m, exactly a week after his stunning 5,000m triumph. The Somali born Englishman is 19/10 at William Hill to win over the longer distance but will face stiff competition from Dejen Gebremeskel. The Ethiopian is the marginal favourite to win 10,000m gold, at odds of 7/4 with Sky Bet.

Britain's only other track hopes on Saturday evening lie with the women's 4x400m team although at odds of 66/1 with Betfred it would be a major shock if Team GB claimed gold. Any medal would be a massive achievement for the British women and it is 10/3 at Sky Bet that they finish in the top three.

Despite a lack of British presence the men's 4x100m relay is still set to raise the roof in Olympic Park. Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake will take on a strong USA quartet, who ran the fourth fastest time in history in the semi finals, breaking the national record. The US are 43/10 at Pinnacle to claim gold with Jamaica 2/9 favourites at Coral.

Away from the track there are British hopes of a gold medal in the ExCel Arena with Luke Campbell evens at Betfred to beat Ireland's John Joe Nevin in the Bantamweight division. The Irish boxer is a 5/6 favourite at Ladbrokes to follow in Katie Taylor's footsteps and claim gold for the Emerald Isle. What is certain is that the noise in the ExCel will be deafening this evening.

It will be similarly loud in the Aquatics Centre where Tom Daley will be hoping for a medal in the men's 10m platform dive. The 18-year-old, one of the poster boys for London 2012, failed to make much impression in the heats and is now out to 12/1 with Sky Bet to win gold with China's Qui Bo now a 1/6 favourite.

Brazil's equivalent of Daley is Santos superstar Neymar, who will be looking to lead his side to gold in the final of the men's football at Wembley this afternoon. Brazil are 1/4 at Betfred to beat Mexico (3/1, bet365) and victory would give the country plenty to smile about ahead of the handover for Rio 2016.
