West Ham are 9/4 to win the bid to take over the Olympic Stadium

West Ham are now more likely than Spurs to win the bid for the Olympic Stadium according to Ladbrokes.

West Ham move to 9/4 (from 4/1) to be the permanent users of the stadium after the Olympics with Tottenham drifting to 5/2 from 15/8. West Ham’s commitment to maintain the running track appears to be the key to the decision however it remains even money that neither side wins the bid.

This leaves the only other option as a ground share between the two clubs which is an unlikely 33/1 chance.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes told Bettingpro:

"West Ham have dealt the ace up their sleeve by pledging to keep the running track and punters now feel that it's enough for them to beat Spurs in the race to use the ground."
